Visitors

We've had a couple visitors during the last couple weeks. My parents took a day out of their vacation on Hilton Head Island to drive down and see us. The boys LOVED seeing Grandpa and Grandma. They got to ride in the rented convertible, eat lunch at McDonalds and go to Walmart and pick out any toy they wanted. It was fun for my parents to see Grant at home, where he is much more comfortable and outgoing. They loved the look on Brendan's face as they drove into the driveway. He was very surprised to see them.

A few days later, Spencer's grandparents drove into town. This is their 4th trip down here, so they know their way around the town really well. We took them to a beautiful park on the river, shared lots of meals together (most of them I didn't have to do any cooking for), made a trip to the Waldo Antique Shop and Flee Market, and Spencer and I were able to go for a walk by ourselves just about every night while Grandpa and Grandma watched the boys.
Grandpa and Grandma played lots of games of Skip-Bo and Uno with Brendan. I think he won most of the games.
