The night before, Spencer and I went to The Cheesecake Factory for some delicious dessert. That was our first date since we were back in Michigan for Christmas Break, so we really enjoyed it.

Valentine's Day
I know this is a little late. I haven't kept up with the blog very well for the past few weeks. We had a fun Valentine's Day with Spencer's grandparents in town. The boys and I spent the morning making heart cookies for Spencer. I always envision Brendan having a great time and taking lots of time to be creative when I do these little projects, but it never works out that way. He liked helping me roll out the dough and using the cookie cutters, but he lasted maybe 5 minutes decorating the cookies. So I was left to decorate 48 cookies by myself. Towards the end Spencer ended up helping me since I was getting tired.
