We had a fun afternoon at the fair that's in town for the week. Brendan got to ride lots of rides thanks to a kind lady who gave us her extra tickets. I forgot the coupon that would have allowed us to buy an armband at a discounted price, so we paid the same price for a bunch of tickets, but that didn't buy too many rides. Just as we were running out of tickets, the kind woman gave us a bunch of extras. Just 2 years ago, the only ride Brendan would do was the carousel, and then he would only ride on the bench. Yesterday, he wanted to try everything. Our little boy is growing up. Of course, we also enjoyed some junk food. I was dissappointed that none of the booths had elephant ears, so I got a very yummy strawberry shortcake instead. Brendan and Spencer wanted ice cream, so we stopped at an ice cream store on the way home.
Grant liked the bunnies, chickens and roosters the best.
It was so fun to watch Brendan on each ride. He even thanked us for taking him to the fair after he was done with all the rides. That makes it all worth it.

sounds like fun! hopefully we'll make it to the clay county fair this year, but i'm not holding my breath. :o) see you tuesday!
