We traveled to Gainesville for the ultrasound yesterday. First of all, we did NOT find out what we're having. I kind of wanted to find out this time, but Spencer just loves the surprise, so maybe next time. Even though this is our third time around, it's still so fun to actually get to see our little one on the screen. He/She was wide awake and moving like crazy. He even got the hiccups. We saw him open his mouth and put his hand up by his face. I think it's so cool to be able to see and feel the movements at the same time. It looks like he's an active one. (There's a good chance it's a boy, so that's why I always refer to it has 'he'.)
All the measurements were normal for a baby at 21 weeks, and the due date is still June 7. I'm guessing that I'll have the baby about a week before that because the doctor will probably want to induce me. My labor with Grant was induced, and it lasted only 3 1/2 hours, and I'm pretty sure induced labors are supposed to take longer. The hospital is 45 minutes away, which wouldn't leave much time if this labor is even faster.
