Our Final Week in Florida

It's hard to believe that we have less than a week left here in Florida. I've been dreading the month of June with so much going on, and now it's here, and it's not going nearly as bad as I thought it would. Thank you to anyone who has been praying for us. We feel God's protection and provision. Jenna has been a very good baby, the boys are beginning to adjust quite well to having a new sister, and Spencer has had a couple interviews and still has some resumes out there.

We plan on driving out of here on Wednesday morning. We'll be going straight to Detroit for Spencer's sister, Marci's, wedding. We'll be in Holland on Sunday, June 21 (Grant's 2nd birthday). On Tuesday Spencer and his dad will be flying back down to Starke to pack up a moving truck, which they'll drive back to Michigan. We plan on staying with Spencer's parents for a little while, until Spencer finds a job. Spencer and I have quite a lot of packing we hope to do this weekend. I'm so glad we did a lot of it before Jenna was born, which makes it a lot less overwhelming right now.

It's with mixed feelings that we leave. We're really going to miss the friends that we've made, and Spencer's going to miss his job and the great people he works with at the high school, but we're also excited to go back to our home town and our families. I am definitely NOT going to miss the long drive to and from Michigan 5 times a year. It will be good for the kids to grow up around their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
