Disney Resort Getaway

On Thursday and Friday last week we took the kids to the Disney All Star Movies Resort to have some fun family time. There are beautiful pools, a playground, a restaurant and lots of huge Disney characters to get pictures by. We wanted to take advantage of living so close to Disney, get a Florida resident discount and have some relaxing and fun family time before life gets crazy in a couple weeks. Our section of the hotel was the Toy Story theme. Grant just loved seeing the characters all over our hotel room and outside the entrance. He called them "the buddies" because of a book we have that says "Buzz and Woody - Good buddies."

We were able to swim for about an hour after we got there before the storm came. That was fine because we were hungry for supper, and the kids were able to play on the playground before it started to rain. The next morning we were in the pools shortly after 8:00 and were able to swim for a couple hours before we had to check out. The boys were completely exhausted and fell asleep after only a few minutes on the road and slept almost the whole way home.
